Taxonomy of Education Objectives


The taxonomy of education it is means all about of wide range of learning outcomes into more manageable clusters that share some common dimension. And it emphasizes the intellectual skills, growth in feelings, and the mental and physical skills. Three classifications of objectives are cognitive domain, affective domain, and the psychomotor domain. These domains retain that recognized the educational objectives in taxonomy to improve the knowledge, contains behavior and some emotional overtones, and the involved in the performance of motor act of a learners. In the cognitive domain it involved the knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation. In affective domain implicated the receiving, responding, valuing, organization, and characterization. And in the psychomotor domain it involved the perception, set, guided response, mechanism, complex over response, adaptation and organization. And there are other psychomotor domain taxonomies by Dave’s and Harrow’s. Based by Dave’s there are five psychomotor domains: Imitation, Manipulation, Articulation and Naturalization. And Based by Harrow’s there are six psychomotor domains: Reflex movements, Fundamental movements, Perception, Physical abilities, skilled movements and No discursive communication.
